Thermino iPV (UniQ HW +iPV) uses an external heating source (e.g. a boiler) as a main source of heat, and surplus PV energy to provide an AC power supply, which is supplied to the electric heater inside the Heat Battery. This is a great way to add water storage and increase the self-consumption of a PV system. The reduced size combined with the fact that the Sunamp does not need any venting allows for full flexibility in install location.
