The Vaillant VR 70 is a wiring centre used to control a two zone system or less. For 3 zone systems a VR71 will work.

See the attached add-on options document to best choose the right combination for your requirements. 

The VR 70 will work as:

†For the VR 70 to work with the sensoCOMFORT a VR 71 must be used as the primary device to control the first 3 zones, the VR70 controls the possible 4th and 5th zones. The sensoCOMFORT RF cannot control more than 3 zones so cannot be used with the VR70.
